We've seen visitors come in to town for a few weeks to a month, wishing they could rent a bike the whole time. Turns out it is prohibitively expensive. So usually they just don't ride at all. Or they buy an old beater bike that doesn't work very well, and then have to get rid of it. So we started seattle monthly bike rental so those people have someplace to get a reasonable bike for longer than a day.
